Last Saturday, February 1, we spent the evening with a crackling fire fueled by the highly flammable box of leftover paperwork from our Chicago condo mistake.
Great timing, I suppose. According to my Farmer’s Almanac, “If the smoke goes straight up on the first day of February, it will be a good crop year.”
The smoke went up, the condo paper trail was reduced to ash and life moved on. I suspect all of this is a positive sign for the days to come.
